Finance minister AMA Muhith left Dhaka for New Delhi on Thursday on a five-day tour to attend the 46th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank in the Indian capital.
The annual meeting of the Manila-based lending agency that began on the day at the India Expo Centre and Mart will end on May 5. The finance minister is being accompanied by his wife Sabia Muhith, daughter Samina Muhith and daughter-in-law Mantasha Ahmed. Deputy secretary of finance division SM Jakaria Huq is also accompanying the finance minister.
Muhith is expected to return home on May 6.
