North Korea and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) have congratulated Sheikh Hasina on her assumption of the office of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh for the third time. According to a foreign ministry release issued yesterday, Pak Pong Ju, premier of the Cabinet, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, greeted the new government headed by Sheikh Hasina. In a separate message, IOM Director General William Lacy Swing also congratulated Hasina on her third appointment as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh. Earlier, India, China, Russia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam, Belarus, Nepal and World Health Organization (WHO) congratulated Hasina on her re-election as the PM.
