Nasima Shaheen’s first Nazrul song album Nishi Nijhum was launched at the Bengal Shilpalaya, Dhanmondi in the capital on Friday.
Noted Nazrul singer Shaheen Samad, the mentor of the young singer, unveiled the album cover at the ceremony.
The album features 12 Nazrul songs including Parothom pradip jaalo, Tabo mukhokhani, Sakhi ar obhiman janabona, Nishi nijhum ghum nahi ashe, Bhule jeyo bhule jeyo, Or nishitho somadhi, Ghumayechhe phul pother dhulai, E nohe bilash bandhu, Aj badal jhorey, Phutlo jedin fagun-e hay, Sobar kotha koile and Ami chirotorey durey chole jabo.
Following the inauguration ceremony, Nasima Shaheen presented some songs from the album.
