The Berger Paints 39th National ‘A’ Chess Championship begins on Saturday (Sept 21) at the Media Centre of Bangladesh Olympic Association.
Bangladesh Chess Federation invited five grandmasters of the country to participate directly in the National ‘A’. Reigning champion GM Niaz Murshed, runner-up GM Ziaur Rahman, GM Mollah Abdullah Al Rakib and GM Enamul Hossain Razib already confirmed their participate in the event.
The event will be held in round-robin League system. The number draw of the participating players starts tomorrow at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room at 4 pm.
In this regards, a press conference was held today at the National Sports Council conference room to give all the details of the meet.
