The Netherlands has expressed its willingness to set up a deep seaport in Bangladesh apart from assuring of providing support for a third seaport in Patuakhali.
Netherlands Ambassador in Dhaka Gerben De Jong said this when he met Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan at his Secretariat office on Wednesday. During the meeting, the Shipping Minister thanked the Netherlands envoy for showing the interest and sought support for dredging the Mongla-Ghashiyakhali Channel.
