Nine rock music bands from five South Asian countries will rock Dhaka audience in a concert scheduled on October 24 at the Army Stadium.
The concert, which will be organised by Bondhu Package of Grameenphone, will feature local bands Warfaze, Aurthoheen, Nemesis, Shunno and Arbovirus, along with Colour Compound from India, Kaya from Pakistan, Albatross from Nepal and Stigma from Sri Lanka.A total of 6000 Grameenphone subscribers from the Bondhu package will get the chance to experience the concert. ‘It is definitely a praiseworthy venture to bring bands from five different countries on one stage. We are really thrilled with the thought of performing with foreign bands on our soil,’ said Tipu, drummer of Warfaze, to New Age.
