For the young music fans of the country Eid is more than a religious festival; it is the time for the new albums, time to be on the lookout for the Eid specials and time to make the list of what to listen to on the day.
Fans eagerly wait for new albums during Eid, but on this Eid the fans of pop singer Mila will have to do without an album from their favourite singer, as she will not be releasing any new album this Eid.
However, the talented pop singer is eyeing Eid-ul-Azha to release her next album. Today we bring our readers an update with Mila.
“I will not be releasing any new album on this Eid, but this should not be something about which my fans should be sad; I will have something for them on Eid-ul-Azha,” said Mila.
Mila took an interest in the movies. She made her debut appearance in the Bangla feature film Matir Thikana, which has been released recently.
Sharing her feelings about her venture on the big screen, Mila said,“ If someone says that I have acted in a film then it will not be entirely correct. Actually, the movie features me in a scene where I am seen performing a song. I have performed as Mila and I have only sung in the movie, not acted in it. So, the movie features me as a singer, not as an actor. Besides, I do not have any plans to take on acting.”
Mila’s first album Phele Asha was released in 2006. Since her debut, Mila has experienced a speedy rise to fame. Her albums Phele Asha, Chapter 2 and Re-define literally catapulted her to fame.
About her big secret, Mila said,“A melodious voice is something which can help anyone achieve goal and I do believe that voice is a gift from the almighty, but with regular practice the quality of the voice always improves.”
Sharing her thought about the current state of the country’s music industry, Mila said,“Currently, the music industry is not doing very well. Piracy is affecting the industry hard. People are becoming more interested in acquiring the songs by copying rather than buying the album. This practice should be stopped.”
Recently, a number of video clips of Mila have been released on the internet. Mila said,“ I urge my fans not to give in to the propaganda, the person in the video is not me. It is someone else.”
When asked about if she is concerned about such video clips, Mila said,“ Of course not, the person in the video is not me, so why should I be concerned at all. I urge everyone to be aware of such people, who release false videos on the net to hamper anyone’s fame. Cyber crime is on the rise in the country. I am strictly against the cyber crime and I strongly protest against such things. The persons involved with such crimes should be tracked down and tried accordingly.”
