Popular band Obscure will present its popular songs at a phono-live programme at 11:45pm today on Desh TV.
The band will also render songs requested by the viewers over telephone. The viewers can also talk to the members of the band at the programme.
‘We will present our old yet very popular numbers including Mamotay Cheye Thaka, Manjh Raater Jatri, Swadhinotar Bijmantro, a song dedicated to the intellectual martyrs of the war of independence,’ vocalist and team leader of the band Tipu told New Age.
‘We will also present a few songs from our latest album titled Phera including Manjhi and Jiban,’ added Tipu.
Tipu enjoys performing in phono-live concerts. ‘As a band troupe, we always prefer to present songs on live concerts, and the phono-live are almost like live concerts as we can interact with the audience directly on these shows,’ said Tipu.
Tipu also informed that the fans of Obscure will have to call at numbers 8332509 and 8332754 during the show to talk and request songs. About the new album, Tipu further informed that they are working hard on a new album, which, they hope to launch on upcoming Valentine’s Day, February 14.
The current lineup of the band includes Tipu on vocals, Rajib and Shantanu on guitars and vocals, Binod on keys, Raajue on bass, Rabbi on drums and vocals.
