Oishee Rahman, daughter of slain Special Branch Inspector Mahfuzur Rahman and his wife Swapna Rahman, was sent to Dhaka central jail from Gazipur adolescent development centre on Saturday. Deputy director of Department of Social Services (DSS), Gazipur district unit Lutfunnesa said, Oishee has been shifted to Dhaka central jail at around 11:00 am following a court order after investigation of papers that reached the centre at around 10 am. The deputy director also said that earlier on Thursday, a Dhaka court asked the authorities concerned to send Oishee Rahman to jail from adolescent development centre.
On August 24, Oishee was sent to Gazipur adolescent development centre. Relatives of Oishee could not meet her while she was staying in the centre.
Inspector Mahfuzur Rahman, 48, and his wife Swapna Rahman, 40, were found dead at their Chamelibagh apartment On August 16. They were killed on August 14.
