A man died Saturday night while displaying fire-works at a marriage ceremony at King of Chittagong Club under the Panchlaish police in the city.
The deceased was Samjad Ali, 22, son of Golam Hossain Ali of Monuhorpur in Bramhon Baria.
The Chittagong Medical Police Outpost Nayek, Md Hamid, said Samjad came in touch of fire while showing fire-works at the Club premises at about 10:00pm.
He was taken to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital immediately and there he died at about 11:00pm, he added.
