Members of Bangladesh Border Guard (BGB) arrested one person with a pistol, some bullets and motorcycle from Dainur border under Fulbari upazila in Dinajpur on Monday, BGB and police said. The arrested was identified as Tushar Mollah, 26, son of Amirul Islam of Upashar (Newtown) area under Kotwali Thana in Dinajpur district town. Acting on secret information, a special BGB patrol party conducted a sudden raid on Dinajpur border area and intercepted a motorcyclist. After searching him, the Border Guards seized the smuggled foreign-made pistol with six round of bullets and unregistered 100cc Bajaj motorcycle from the spot.
