A trade fair titled ‘Bangladesh Single Country Trade Fair’ has recently been held at Sharjah, UAE which was participated by local companies of Bangladesh.
Different banks, financial organizations and companies participated in the fair. Pubali Bank Limited also took part in the fair to expand and promote foreign remittance from the UAE from Bangladeshi expatriates.
A team of Pubali Bank Ltd met Ambassador of Bangladesh in the UAE Md Nazmul Quaunine and had a fruitful discussion with him.
Director of Pubali Bank Moniruddin Ahmed, Managing Director Helal Ahmed Chowdhury and DGM of ID Md Hasan Ali were present in the meeting. For increasing trend of economic development of the country Moniruddin Ahmed thanked the Bangladeshi expatriates.
Managing Director of Pubali Bank Helal Ahmed Chowdhury stressed upon the need to remit the earnings of Bangladeshis through official channels in consideration of the Anti Money Laundering Act.
He underscored the facilities for remitting the earnings through Pubali Bank.
He also gave assurance to expedite the remittance to the beneficiaries in Bangladesh at a quickest possible time.
The delegates of PBL also exchange views with exchange companies regarding remittance flow and met the Bangladeshi expatriates for sending remittance through exchange companies to Bangladesh expansion of PBL business. Delegates of PBL had a fruitful discussion with Four exchange companies about remittance which will be implement after obtaining permission from Bangladesh Bank.
