The television arena of the country was awestruck when the news of sudden demise of noted actor Mita Noor broke on Monday morning. Friends and colleagues of the deceased actor
shared their woes with New Age.
‘I really don’t what sadness she bore in her mind; however, her death is absolutely shocking,’ said veteran actor Abul Hayat.
‘Life is not a bed of roses and we all are inflicted by sorrows but Mita Noor taking her life is utterly miserable and entirely unacceptable. She was like a daughter to me and I don’t know how to express my grief over her untimely death’, added Hayat.
Eminent television and theatre personality Lucky Enam, on the other hand, shared, ‘In 1980, when Mita Noor was a newcomer in the media, she acted in a single episode play titled Dola, which was written by me. At that time I could foresee that she will definitely flourish in the future. I was right because Noor had a great career and she was a wonderful actor and a good human being. Her death at such an early age is simply shocking and miserable for me.’
Noted actor Azizul Hakim revealed that he and Mita Noor used to share a very amicable relationship and last year they had worked together for a television commercial together. ‘I was speechless hearing the news of Mita Noor’s demise. She was such a talented actor,’ said Hakim, who also demanded that the cause behind her death must be unveiled.
‘Every death is miserable and the death of a jovial actor like Mita Noor is depressing beyond expression,’ observed Afzal Hossain, prominent television actor, director and ad-maker.
Endowed Actor Fazlul Rahman Babu said that the news had left him astonished. ‘She was our colleague, our friend, and suddenly she is no more. I still can’t believe that she has left us forever,’ told a grief-stricken Babu.
