Four former advisers to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have retained their positions in the new government.
HT Imam, Moshiur Rahman, Gowher Rizvi and Maj Gen (retd) Tarique Ahmed Siddique were appointed as advisers to the prime minister yesterday. The Cabinet Division in a
gazette notification said they were appointed with the rank and status of cabinet ministers.
HT Imam, who was public administration affairs adviser, has now been made political affairs adviser while Moshiur, Rizvi and Tarique got the same responsibilities of
economic affairs, international affairs and security affairs respectively.
However, former energy adviser Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury is yet to get any appointment.
