Rupna Chakma, the goalie for Bangladesh Women’s Football team, will soon have a new home, thanks to orders from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Rangamati Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mizanur Rahman confirmed the information, “The Prime Minister’s Office has given instructions to build Rupana Chakma’s home as soon as possible.
We immediately dispatched an LGED engineer and Naniachar Upazila Nirbahi officer to the location. Construction on the house has begun as of today.”
At the same time, the work on constructing the bridge leading to her house will also start, said the DC.
