Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visited the Orthopedic Hospital here today (Sunday) to enquire about the condition of the Rana Plaza building collapse victims undergoing treatment at the hospital. She talked to the injured persons and the doctors of the hospital. Hasina directed the doctors and others concerned to ensure complete treatment of the 48 victims of the Savar Rana Plaza victims.
She donated Tk 10,000 and a saree/lungi to each victim of the Savar tragedy, now under treatment at the Orthopedic Hospital.
The prime minister also assured that the government would take all necessary steps to complete the treatment of the injured persons.
Health and Family Welfare Minister AFM Ruhal Haque accompanied the Prime Minister during her visit to the hospital. The PM is also scheduled to visit Suhrawardy Hospital and Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
