The police arrested a youth early Wednesday on charge of
stalking a female collage student in Sylhet city.
The arrested was identified as Delwar Hossain, 20, of village Chanpur under Chhatak upazila in Shunamganj, also a Class XII student of Chhatak Janata College.The Biman Bandar police said Delwar had been disturbing a student of Ambarkhana Girls School and College in the city by making call to her mobile phone and sending abusive messages and pictures for long.
He also stalked the girl on her way to the college at Housing Estate in the city on May 4.
Her father filed a case on May 7 against Delwar as he continued to send messages from his mobile phone, police said.

Samanta Ranjan told
New Age that they picked Delwar early Wednesday from his village at Chhatak.
Delwar was produced before a judicial magistrate court at noon and the
court sent him to jail, he added.
