The government has appointed Dr Mobasser Monem, a Professor of Governance and Public Management at the University of Dhaka, as the new Chairman of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC).
Along with Professor Monem, four others have been appointed as members of the BPSC.
The four members are– Md Suzayet Ullah, Dr Md Nazmul Amin Majumder, Dr Md Aminul Islam and Dr Nurul Qadir.
The public administration ministry issued separate gazette notifications in this regard today (Wednesday).
The new appointments were made in wake of registrations of previous chairman Sohrab Hossain and 12 members yesterday.
