President of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) ASM Abdur Rab on Friday said the proposed budget would become a hunting ground for the lackeys of the government to plunder money. “There is no guideline in the proposed budget to bring political stability, establish good governance and form a non-party election time government to make the next polls acceptable to all,” he said while addressing a press conference at the National Press Club. The JSD leader said, the next budget would turn into a hunting ground to plunder huge amount of money by ministers and ruling party MPs due to mismanagement of the government.
He, however, observed that it was not possible for Awami League or BNP whichever assumed the power to accept a budget for plundering.
Rab emphasised the need for creating the third political force to ensure preparing a budget desired by the nation and its implementation for the greater interest of the country. In his written statement, JSD general secretary Abdul Malek Ratan placed a set of proposals to achieve the target of the nation through the budget.
The proposals include introducing social assessment system, establishing industrial zones in all districts and giving investment scope for expatriate Bangladeshis.
JSD leaders MA Gofran, Md Siraj Miah, SM Ansar Uddin, Tajul Islam, Abdur Razzak and Advocate Makbul Hossain, among others, were present at the conference.
