A three-day ‘QUBEE Summer Laptop Fair 2012’ begins on June 7 at Ruposhi Bangla Hotel in the capital.
Event management organisation Maker Communication is organising the fair with the slogan ‘Enlighten up the Technology’ for the 11th time in Bangladesh, the organisers said at a press briefing at city’s Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel on Saturday.
Qubee chief marketing officer Nehal Ahmed said, ‘At QUBEE we aim to enable our consumers to have the most magical experience in using the internet.’
‘The laptop, notebook or PC is really incomplete without a reliable high-speed internet connection and that is why QUBEE has been consistently supporting this initiative,’ he added.
‘This year we also hope to bring something more exciting for our guests visiting the fair in the form of showcasing a world of the latest gadgets developed by some of the leading technology brands also participating at the QUBEE Summer Laptop Fair 2012,’ he said.
The organisers said the fair would feature 6 pavilions, 7 mini-pavilions and 40 stalls of Qubee, Acer, Asus, HP, Intel, Samsung, Gigabyte, Toshiba, Apple, Fujitsu, Lenova, Msi, Bijoy and many others.
New laptop models will be unveiled at the fair and also the visitors could have the experience to operate it.
The fair will be open from 10:00am to 8:00pm. The entry fee is Tk 20.
Among others, Global Brand chairman Abdul Fattah and HP country business manager Imrul Hossain Vhuiyan were present at the briefing.
