Mahfuzur Rahman was elected president and Irtiza Ahmed Chowdhury general secretary of the Rangpur Division Unnayan Samity on Saturday, said a press release.
Mahfuzur Rahman is the parliament affairs secretary and Irtiza Ahmed Chowdhury is project director of primary school stipend programme.The press release said a 47-member working committee was selected at the general meeting of the Samity at a convention centre in the Bashundhara City Tower.
LGED secretary Abu Alam Md Shahid Khan was chief guest at the general meeting.
