Rangpur Division clinched their first ever Women’s Cricket League title in the final of the tournament’s sixth edition against Khulna Division by six wickets at the Sylhet Divisional Stadium on Saturday.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Khulna could manage only 129-9 in 49 overs. In reply, Rangpur coasted to 130-4 in 46.3 overs.Khulna’s Saila Sharmin was adjudged the player of the tournament while she was also the highest wicket-taker. National skipper Salma Khatun was the highest run-getter.
