Veteran left-arm spinner Abdur Razzak and paceman Al-Amin Hossain were given a chance to prove their worth after they were picked to represent the Bangladesh Cricket Board XI in a Twenty20 warm-up game against visiting South Africa. The match is scheduled on July 3 at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah. Opener Imrul Kayes was made the captain of BCB XI that also included opening batsman Anamul Haque and Shuvagata Hom.
Sohag Gazi is the only player from the Bangladesh Twenty20 squad to be picked to the warm-up game.
Razzak, the leading wicket-taker for Bangladesh in one-day internationals, did not play any match for the Tigers since the West Indies tour in August last year.
Al-Amin on the other hand was overlooked constantly since he was sent back home from the World Cup for breaking the team curfew in Australia-New Zealand.
