Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon recently announced divorce with husband Jim Toth after being married for 11 years. Taking to Instagram, the actress addresses the decision ‘difficult’ after a ‘great deal of care and consideration’. She also requested privacy at this time.
The statement read, “We have some personal news to share… It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness and mutual respect for everything we have created together. Our biggest priority is our son and our entire family as we navigate this next chapter. These matters are never easy and are extremely personal. We truly appreciate everyone’s respect for our family’s privacy at this time. – Reese and Jim.”
Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth announced their engagement a decade ago in December 2010. They got married a year later in March 2011 in a ceremony on her ranch in Ojai, Calif. They have a 10-year-old son named Tennessee James. Reese Witherspoon also shares two kids, daughter Ava, 23, and son Deacon, 19 with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.
Reese recently produced the hit Prime Video show Daisy Jones and the Six, based on Taylor Jenkins Reid’s book of the same name, which starred Riley Keough and Sam Claflin. Her upcoming projects include Your Place or Mine, a new season of Apple TV+’s The Morning Show, and Legally Blonde 3. Some of her most well known projects are Legally Blonde, Cruel Intentions, Walk the Line, Wild, Big Little Lies and Little Fires Everywhere.
