Three people were killed and two others injured in separate road accidents in Pabna, Netrokona and Kishoreganj on Wednesday night and yesterday.
Our Correspondent from Pabna reports: A minor girl was killed and two others were injured in a collision between a CNG run auto-rickshaw and a three-wheeler (Nasimon) on Sujanagar Highway at Koladi in Sadar upazila yesterday.
Julekha, 8, daughter of Lokman of village Koladi of the Sadar upazila died on the spot.
The injured were admitted to the Pabna General Hospital.
Police said a Pabna-bound CNG auto-rickshaw fell into the roadside as the Nasimon hit it at about 3:00pm.
Our Correspondent from Netrokona says: A man was killed in a road accident in Montala of Kalmakanda upazila on Wednesday.
Abdul Kuddus, 50, a farmer of Rika village of the same upazila, died instantly.
The accident occurred at around 10:00pm when Kuddus was run over by a Kalmakanda-bound speeding motorcycle while he was crossing the road.
Our Kishoreganj Correspondent adds: Nadira Akter, 25, wife of Hazrat Ali of Kaliakanda village of Sadar upazila was killed in a road accident in Gouranga Bazar area of the town yesterday.
Locals said the accident took place at 12:00pm while Nadira was going by a rickshaw along her father to giving a testimony. Their rickshaw hit another rickshaw and overturned on the road.
She was rushed to Kishoreganj Adhunik Sadar Hospital where she died at noon.
