Six people were killed and another was injured in road accidents across the country yesterday and Friday. Our correspondent Pabna reports, a motorcyclist was killed and his co-rider injured when a covered van hit the vehicle at Tetultola on Pabna-Ishwardi road on Friday.
The deceased was Moslem Uddin, 35, of Bharuimari village. Haidur Rahman is undergoing treatment at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
Meanwhile, Rabiul Islam, 40, of Ishwardi, died after two locally-made three-wheelers collided head-on at Dhulti.
Our Faridpur correspondent adds, two persons died after a bus hit their motorbike near Tetultola area of Kanaipur in Faridpur yesterday.
Aminur Rahman and Sushmoy Saha, both aged 18 and hailed from Boakmari upazila.
Our Moulvibazar correspondent reports, Kulsum Begum, 60, died after a motorcycle hit her at Timirpur in Nabiganj upazila of Habiganj yesterday.
On Friday night, Hormoj Ali, 66, died after being hit by a motorcycle in Somsernaagar town of Kamalganj upazila.
