A national seminar on ‘the role of herbal medicine for prevention of disease and beauty care of women’ was organised by Bangladesh Ayurvedic Medicine Manufacturers Association in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce’s Medicinal Plants and Herbal Products Business Promotion Council.
Drug Administration director general Major General Mohammad Yousuf was present as chief guest of the seminar held at the conference room of the Directorate of Drug Administration at Mohakhali in the capital on Tuesday morning.
Dhaka University pharmacy faculty dean Sitesh Chandra Bachar was special guest on the occasion where Bangladesh Ayurvedic Medicine Manufacturers Association general secretary Md Mizanur Rahman also spoke, said a press release.
Bangladesh Ayurvedic Medicine Manufacturers Association president and Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh managing director Md Yousuf Harun Bhuiyan presided over the prgramme.
Tibbia Habibia College principal AK Mahbubur Rahman Saki presented the keynote paper at the seminar conducted by Hamdard Bangladesh director information and mass communication Amirul Momenin Manik.
Drug Administration directors Ashraf Hossain, Md Salauddin, Md Yahya and Akib Hossain, deputy director Md Nurul Alam, BAMA’s former president Shibbrata Roy, Ayurveda Foundation secretary general Mustafa Naushad Zakiwere also present at the event. – Press release
