The 2013 Bangladesh Premier League champions, Sheikh Russell Krira Chakra, have been drawn against Tajikistan’s Khayr Vahdat FK in the 2015 AFC Cup play-off, scheduled to be played in Tajikistan on February 10. If Russell win the match, they will take on Lebanese FA Cup champions Salam Zgharta on February 17 in Lebanon. Russell were given an wildcard in the AFC Cup play-off for qualifying in the AFC President’s Cup final round.
Earlier, it was reported that the defending Bangladesh champions Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club will represent Bangladesh in the pre-qualifying round of the AFC Cup.
But as Russell got the wildcard Jamal now must wait for the next edition for their turn.
