Although being engaged with husband and baby Close Up 1 famed singer Salma doesn’t forget her fans. For this reason, after two years break this folk based singer has completed works of her solo album. Title of the album is “Prem-er Janala.” This album will be released under the banner of Laser Vision this week.
In this album, Salma has performed with her husband Shibli Sadiq. Salma gave her vocal for five tracks, while her husband paid four other tracks in the album. Sheikh Reza Shanu, Sheikh Wahid and Salma’s father-in-law Mostafizur Rahman Fizu have written lyrics of the tracks of the album. Mannan Mohammad has directed music of the album.
While shearing her feelings to release an album after a break of two years Salma told this correspondent, “I always try to perform my level best for my fans. In this album, I have done same thing. I render those songs, which are comfortable for me to give my vocal. My husband also renders song well. I hope listeners will enjoy the tracks of my new album.”
Mentionable tracks of the album are: “Bondhu aami tor lagiya aylam Dhaka tore pailam na,” “Tarai buna akash dibo joshna chander bari,” “Jaiyo na jaiyo na bondhu aamai chhariya” and others.
