East End Club will face PWD Sporting Club today in the opening match of the Kool Second Division Football League at the Bir Sreshtho Shahid Sipahi Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalpur.
15 clubs will participate in the league, with the four top teams gaining promotion to the First Division League next year and bottom two teams being relegate to the Third Division, Dhaka Metropolitan Football League officials said at a press conference at the Bangladesh Football Federation on Friday.
All of the matches will be held in Kamalpur Stadium.
Square Toiletries Limited will provide Tk 10 lakh as the title sponsor.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Benjir Ahmed will inaugurate the competition today. Metropolitan Football League Committee chairman Deputy Inspector General Sheikh Maruf Hasan will also be present at the occasion.
