Dhallywood heartthrob Shakib Khan announced that he
will not act in more than five films a year.
‘I’m interested to act only in quality films,’ the highest paid actor in the local film industry explained the reason for his decision.
‘I shouldn’t be signing more than five fims a year. I’m overstressed and I need to pay attention to myself to remain fit as an actor’ added Shakib, who used to appear around in 20 films a year since his debut in Ananto Bhalobasha released in1999.
He informed that his upcoming film Nishpap Munna will be released tomorrow. Sahara has paired with him in the film directed by Badiul Alam Khokon.
‘It’s different from the stereotypical Dhallywood films and I expect it to be a boxoffice hit,’ the actor expressed his high hopes. Shakib Khan is signing only in big budget films having atypical storylines since winning the national film award for the film Bhalobashlei Ghar Badha Jay Na (2010) conferred to him in 2011.
Critics believe that Shakib had no other choice but to limit the number of films for two reasons: he seems exhausted and many of his recent big budget films could not hit the boxoffice.
