Siddikur Rahman barely managed the cut in the Philippine Open as he finished the second round at joint 59 with a one-over-par 73 in Manila on Saturday.
The two-time Asian Tour winner began the second round from joint 38th place and started with a birdie before double bogeys in the fifth and 16th holes spoiled his day.Overall he hit four birdies, one bogey and two double bogeys in the second round of the US$300,000 event.
Canada’s Lindsay Renolds kept his lead and stayed on track to win his first Asian Tour title, shooting a four-under-par 68.
The Canadian was followed closely by Scott Barr of Australia, who shot a 66 at the Luisita Golf and Country Club.
