Ace golfer Siddikur finished at 17th position after the end of the fourth and final round of the Venetian Macao Open at the Macau Golf and Country Club on Sunday.
Two-time Asian Tour winner Siddikur, who started the day at 22nd position, carded five birdies and four bogeys in the final round to get to an aggregate of seven-under-par (278).Siddikur earned $11,314 jointly with six other golfers.
The 30-year old golfer is without any trophy for sometimes now and failing to win any trophy this year will take him away from ‘champion’ category from future events.
Scott Hend of Australia claimed the $1,000,000 title with an aggregate of 20-under-par (264), three-shot clear of two Indian golfers—Anirban Lahiri and Chiragh Kumar.
Brett Munson of USA and Niall Turner of Ireland finished third and fourth respectively.
