The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC), SSC vocational and Dakhil examinations of 2011 under 10 education boards will be published on May 12, education officials told The Independent Monday. ‘The due date of publication of the results is May 10 (within two months of completion of exams) but our honourable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gives her consent to launch the results formally on May 12 at her office. We have almost completed the preparation of the results,” chairman of an education board said adding, “As most of the schools and madrassahs have no e-mail account or web-address results will be sent to the institutions.”
“We had a plan to publish the results online-only form this year but failed,” he said.
Besides, examinees will be able to get the results using mobile phones through short message services (SMSs).
No result will be available at the respective education boards, education ministry or newspaper offices.
A total of 13,15,002 students had registered to take the SSC and equivalent examinations of 2011. The theoretical exams began February 1 and ended on March 10.
