The body of a college student was recovered Friday noon from Kalijira area in Barshal city.
The deceased was identified as Al-Amin, 20, son of Nurul Islam and a fifth semester student of Infra Polytechnic Institute of the city.
Nurul Islam said he went to take bath calling Al-Amin to prepare for Jumma prayers and after returning from bath he found his son hanging from a tree in the courtyard at about 12:30pm.
With the help of the neighbours the body was brought down and taken to the Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital where he was declared dead.
