Swine flu or Influenza A (H1N1) has recently returned in Bangladesh. Experts urged to stay cautious and take preventive measures and seek treatment if anybody shows the signs and symptoms including fever, sore throat, cough, runny nose, headache, body-pain, difficulty in breathing, with general weakness, loss of appetite, diarrhoea or vomiting etc. The following tips will help you to avoid catching swine flu.
* Frequent handwashing to reduce the risk of infection.
* Stay home when you are sick. You will help prevent others from catching your illness.
* Avoid close contact with people who are sick. When you are sick, keep your distance from others to protect them from getting sick too.
* Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. It may prevent those around you from getting sick.
* Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
* Isolate sick persons, screen and limit visitors.
