The Rotary Club of Sylhet Valley held a daylong free treatment and blood donation programme in at Sonarpara in the city on Monday. A total 145 patients were given treatments along with free medicines and 12 units of blood were also collected from the donors in the daylong campaign, the organisers said. Doctor Jamil A Chowdhury Tamim, Nusrat Shammi and Tazul Islam provided prescriptions to the patients.
The Sylhet unit of
Mujib-Jahan Red Crescent Society provided required support of collecting blood, the organisers
said.
