Pahela Baishakh was celebrated in different district towns including Chittagong, Sylhet, Khulna, Bogra, Mymensingh and Jessore through colourful programmes. The main attraction of the celebrations was Baishakhi fairs displaying various agricultural products, handicrafts, toys, cosmetics, and regional cuisines.
