A ward boy was held in possession of a huge quantity of medicines at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Tuesday. The arrested, Nasiruddin, 42, an assistant of ward 210 of the hospital, was caught during a drive led by the hospital director, Brigadier General Mostafizur Rahman, at about 9:00am.

Sri Lanka urged to ease process for medicine export from Bangladesh
Foreign minister Dipu Moni on Monday urged Sri Lanka to ease the process for Bangladeshi pharmaceutical companies to export their products to the island country. She made the request during a meeting with Sri Lankan health minister Maithripala Sirisena at her office. Sirisena is on a three-day visit to Bangladesh from April 8.
