A Chittagong metropolitan magistrate court on Sunday sentenced a man to life-term imprisonment and fined him Tk 50,000 for violating a female student in Chittagong. The convict was identified as Nur Mohammed, 32, son of Abul Kashem, resident of Shah Mirpur area under Karnaphuli police station in the district.
