Stocks decline amid increased weekly turnover

Dhaka stocks declined slightly last week amid increased turnover as investors’ went for sell-offs later in the week to book some profit or to minimise some losses. DSEX, the benchmark index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, declined by 0.52 per cent or 18.76 points, to close at 3,571.27 points.

DSE to seek 5-year tax exemption after demutualisation

Dhaka stocks declined on Thursday after three sessions on the up as the turnover fell significantly amid thin participation of the investors. The turnover of the Dhaka Stock Exchange declined to Tk 148.10 crore, a 29.41 per cent decrease from the earlier trading session’s Tk 209.80 crore.

Stocks inch up amid higher turnover
