Mostafa Sarwar Forooki’s film Television is going to participate in four international film festivals.
The film will be the curtain raiser of the Perspectives Film Festival in Singapore, which will begin on October 3, said a press release.
In the same month Television will be screened in an Italian festival named Asiatica Film Medial, which will continue from October 12 to 21.
Television will be screened in the Kolkata Film Festival in November and also in the Asia-Pacific Screen Awards in Australia in December.
Farooki is scheduled to leave Bangladesh for the Singapore Festival on September 02, where the film will have an extra screening for the Bangladesh expatriates living in Singapore on September 05 after the festival screening on September 03.
Depicting a story of collision between the old and the new social values, Farooki created the film cast with Chanchal Choudhury, Mosharraf Karim, Nusrat Imroz Tisha, Shahir Huda Rumi.
The film has so far been screened in festivals like Busan International Film Festival 2010, Dubai International Film Festival 2012, Cinemanila International Film Festival 2012.
