A good number of Malaysian entrepreneurs will visit Dhaka in the last week of May to explore business potential in prospective sectors, especially
in health and tourism, said a business leader.
The entrepreneurs will hold business talks with their Bangladeshi counterparts during their stay in the city and showcase their products and services at a three-day a single-country trade fair, titled ‘Showcase Malaysia-2013’ that will begin in Dhaka on May 23.

Nurul Islam told the UNB on Friday.
He said the BMCCI in collaboration with High Commission of Malaysia in Bangladesh, Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation
, Bangladesh High Commission in Malaysia and Malaysia South-South Association will arrange the fair aiming to boost Malaysian investment here and make trade ties between the countries stronger.
‘BMCCI is a bilateral chamber. Its work is to promote trade and investment between two countries. We arrange Showcase Bangladesh in Malaysia and similarly Showcase Malaysia in Dhaka,’ Nurul, also the
chief executive of Well Group, said.
The Showcase Malaysia 2013 will be the third single-country exhibition for Malaysia in Bangladesh.
This event will further strengthen and expand the existing collaboration and partnership in trade and investment between Malaysia and Bangladesh, he said.
Responding to a question, the BMCCI president said there would be over 40 stalls and 16 of them would be owned by Malaysian health and tourism sector.
Industries minister Dilip Barua will inaugurate the three-day fair while Malaysian High Commissioner in Dhaka Norlin Othman will also present.
