The International Crimes Tribunal-1 on Thursday framed charges against Jamaat-e-Islami leader Mir Kashem Ali in connection with crimes against humanity during the Liberation War.
The three-member tribunal, headed by Justice ATM Fazle Kabir, indicted the Jamaat leade on 14 charges and set September 30 to hear the opening statement of the trial. The tribunal also directed the prosecution to submit all relevant documents by the beginning of the opening statement.
