The Bangladesh Football Federation’s women’s wing is going to organise a nationwide Plan U-15 Girls’ Football Championship, which is scheduled to start from Saturday.
The BFF has signed a Tk 1.4 crore deal with Plan Bangladesh, a non-government organisation which works for the deprived women, for the next three years.A total of 50 district teams will participate in the tournament, informed the officials at a press conference at the BFF House on Wednesday.
The teams will play the first phase games on knock-out basis in seven venues across the country. The BFF will also to hold some seminars on gender discrimination, women empowerment, leadership and awareness building during the tournament.
