Private airline United Airways on Tuesday inaugurated one Airbus-310-300ER and one ATR-72 aircraft to its fleet.
The new addition to the aircraft has increased the fleet of the airline to six, said chairman and managing director of United Airways Tasbirul Ahmed Chowdhury, at the inaugural ceremony at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital.
Jatiya Party chairman HM Ershad inaugurated the two aircraft at the ceremony attended by civil aviation minister GM Quader and secretary Shafique Alam Mehdi.
The Airbus will primarily be used on upcoming Dhaka-Dubai-London-Dubai-Sylhet and Dhaka-Jeddah-Dhaka routes and ATR-72 will be used for domestic and regional routesm, said Tasbirul.
