A 30-year-old woman and her 8-year-old daughter were killed in a traffic accident on Dhaka-Dinajpur Highway at Dhaka More at Phulbari in Dinajpur on Saturday.
They were identified as Sultana Banu, the wife of Saiful Islam of village Tetuldanga at Birampur in Dinajpur and her daughter, Sumaiya.
The police and local people said a Phulbari-bound fertilised-loaded tractor hit a passenger-loaded rickshaw van from behind at 12:30pm on Saturday.
