A 60-year woman died after muggers pulled her down from a running train at the airport station Thursday night.
The deceased was Saleha Begum of Noakhali.
The victim’s son Shahadat Hossain alleged that his mother died after she sustained critical head injury when muggers had dragged her to the ground from the running train in a bid to snatch valuables from her about 11:00pm.
Saleha was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he died at around 12:30am.
Railway police sub-inspector Nazrul Islam said an unnatural death case was filed in this connection.
