Viqarunnissa Noon School & College and Siddheswari Girls’ College moved into the final of 13th Delta Life Women’s College Handball Tournament winning their respective semifinals at the Handball Stadium yesterday.
In the first semifinal, Viqarunnissa beat Eden Girls’ College senior team 15-8. The winners led the first half 10-4.
Pinky scored highest six goals and Bitasta added three for the winners while Hazra scored four for the losing side.
In the day’s other semi, Siddheswari crushed Eden junior team by 11-1 goals after leading the first half 6-0.
Bibha scored four and Hafiza added three for the winners.
The two teams will meet in the final at 3:30pm today at the same venue.
