Classical music students under different music teachers and from different schools have demonstrated their skills in classical music at a two-day classical music festival at the Biswa Sahitto Kendra in Bangla Motor, on Wednesday and Thursday. Young classical artistes below sixteen years performed at the festival organised by Suddho Sangeet Prasar Goshthi to inspire the young learners in classical music. On the first day, Bishal Karim Tonna entertained the audiences with his vocal presentation of raga yamon. And Nowshin Anzum Islam pleased the audience with her vocal presentation of raga malkosh.
A jugalbandhi of Suchorit Soham Rahman on violin and Syurid Sorjo Rahman on sarod created a tune that brought about a joyful atmosphere in the hall. Irina Mallic and Gaytree Burman presented the ragas jainapuri and bhupali, respectively.
On the second day, Munia Ahsan and Mahima Ahsan Rekha presented a jugalbandhi of raga Yamon, while Chitra Roy rendered Madhubanti in her tuneful voice. Besides, Tasauf Rahman, Laddhok Dey, Abrar Ahmed Tarik, Mushrat Mahzabin and Anila Amir Lami also presented classical music at the programme.
